I was taking a part in YGAP 2023 in South-Africa, Cape Town! YGAP stands for Youth Globalisation Awareness Programme. Young activists from all over the world get together in South-Africa to talk about workers rights, democracy and equality – most importantly to learn from each other. YGAP is coordinaited by IFWEA the International Federation of Workers’ Education Associations.

We all had a study visit in a local organization and I went to this organization called Heal The Hood. This organisation is teaching life skills to children. They are working to give them meaningful things to do through dance, art lessons, music workshops and golf.
I learned a lot of using art as a form of education and using it as a way to express your thoughts about the world. Thanks for all ygappers and amaizing group we got to work in Heal The Hood.

So the first video was a song we did in YGAP 2023. We wrote the lyrics and recorded the song in almost one day! The second video is my postcard from the whole study visit. The postcard video was my final work before my graduation to show what I learned in my study visit. There’s also a part of us working for the song together.
